Leadership

Andy Law, Company Director

Andy founded Flooring Matters SW Ltd in 2016 with a simple aim: quality, sustainable flooring backed by excellent service. What started as a small local business now employs over 15 people. We deliver residential and commercial projects across the South West.

Andy is a hands-on leader who cares about craftsmanship, sustainability and new ideas. He believes in ongoing training and regularly attends specialist courses. That keeps the business ahead on the latest techniques, products and standards. He also holds a CSCS Gold Card.

His drive has helped Flooring Matters become a Which? Trusted Trader and a multi-award winner at the CFJ Awards.

Outside work, Andy is a keen endurance athlete. He takes on long-distance running expeditions in some of Europe’s toughest landscapes. Recent challenges include a rugged trail through the Kintail mountains in Scotland and the famous Trans-Alpine Run across several countries. The same resilience and focus show up in how he runs the business.

Whether he’s leading a commercial tender or tackling a technical install, Andy brings energy and insight to every project.

The Fitting Team

Our fitters are the people you’ll see on site, and they’re the reason our floors look so good. Most are directly employed by Flooring Matters. They’re time-served specialists, and flooring is all they do, day in, day out.

We invest in their ongoing training, so they keep up with new products, materials and fitting methods. Every fitter is fully qualified for the work they carry out, and we’re fully insured on every job. When we do bring in subcontractors, they’re carefully vetted and trusted, and many have worked with us for years.

From a single room to a large commercial site, our fitting team takes real pride in every installation. It’s why we’re happy to back our residential work with a 5-year installation guarantee.
