1 – What’s Included in My Quote?
Your quote details everything we’ve discussed, from the products we’re supplying to the services we’re carrying out. This means there’s complete transparency so you know exactly what’s covered.
If you feel something is missing, just let us know. We’re happy to revise your quote to suit your needs.
We will also send a copy of our Terms and Conditions of Work, which outline what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
2 – How Long Is My Quote Valid For?
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are sent. If you’d like to go ahead after this, we’ll check costs again and confirm everything before proceeding.
3 – What If I Need to Make Changes to My Quote?
No problem at all. If you’d like to adjust anything, just contact us and we’ll be happy to revise the quote to suit your needs.
4 – The Installation Cost Is More Expensive Than My Local Builder / Tradesperson. Why Is That?
All of our installers are time-served craftsmen. They are flooring specialists, not general joiners or builders, and they truly understand every aspect of flooring installation.
They will carefully and meticulously execute every cut, joint and finish to the highest standard. Nothing is rushed or compromised, and they aim for excellence in every installation, every single time.
5 – I Want to Go Ahead – What Do I Do Next?
Great news! You can either accept the quotation online or contact us directly by phone or email.
Once confirmed, we’ll book you into our schedule and guide you through the next steps, including confirming fitting dates and any final details we need from you.
6 – I’m Not Ready to Go Ahead Yet – Can I Take Some Time to Think?
Of course. Choosing new flooring is a big decision and we want you to feel completely confident before you commit. Take the time you need to review everything.
One of our team will follow up with you to answer any questions and make sure you have everything you need to make your decision.
7 – Is Your Quote a Fixed Price?
Our quotations generally cover the entire process from survey to completion, so in almost all instances your quote is a fixed price.
In rare circumstances where we were unable to fully inspect your subfloors during the survey, there may be additional preparation works required once installation begins. If this happens, we will stop work immediately, provide you with a written quote for the additional works, and will not proceed until you have given your express written agreement to any additional charges.
8 – Can I Cancel My Order Once I’ve Confirmed?
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders for materials that are cut to length, made to order, or specially sourced on your behalf cannot be cancelled once placed, as these are bespoke goods.
For standard stock items, cancellation requests made before delivery may be accepted, though a restocking charge may apply. Deposit payments for ordered materials are non-refundable where materials have already been procured.
9 – Is There a Warranty on the Flooring and Installation?
Yes. We provide a 5-year installation warranty as standard on all residential installations (12 months for commercial installations). This is our own warranty and means you contact us directly in the first instance with any concerns.
