When you invest in new flooring, you want to know it’s going to be fitted properly and look great for years. That’s why every domestic / residential installation we complete comes with our 5-year installation and workmanship guarantee, giving you extra confidence from day one.

What our guarantee covers

Our 5-year guarantee covers installation and workmanship completed by Flooring Matters SW Ltd within your home.

In plain terms: if there’s an issue caused by how the flooring has been fitted, we’ll work with you to put it right.

What it doesn’t cover

Our guarantee focuses on the workmanship we control. It doesn’t include:

  • The flooring product itself (this is covered separately by the manufacturer where applicable)
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage, misuse or neglect
  • Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products or poor maintenance
  • Issues caused by unsuitable site conditions (for example excessive moisture or heat)
  • Events outside anyone’s control (for example flooding or fire)

Registering your product warranty

Many flooring products come with a manufacturer warranty. Where applicable, you’ll need to register this directly with the manufacturer.

We’ll provide the warranty details and registration information when your installation is complete. If a product issue arises, we can also help by liaising with the manufacturer where helpful.

A: Yes — it applies to domestic / residential installations completed by Flooring Matters SW Ltd.

Q: How long does it last?
A: Five years from completion of the installation.

Q: Does it cover the flooring materials?
A: No — product warranties are provided by manufacturers, where applicable.

Q: Will you help if it’s a product issue?
A: Yes. While the manufacturer decides the outcome, we’ll support you by providing documentation and helping with the process.

Q: What do you need if I have a concern?
A: Your invoice and a brief description of the issue. Photos are helpful too.
