Project Overview

This extensive project, working with Ward & Masters, involved multiple areas, including the kitchen, bathrooms, games room, gym, boot room, utility space, lounge, dining area, and even a first-floor lounge. The client sought a luxurious yet functional flooring solution tailored to the needs of each specific room.

Kitchen – Timeless Elegance with Amtico LVT

For the kitchen, we installed the stunning Amtico Signature Bianca Classic Marble LVT. With its timeless elegance and durability, Amtico LVT was the perfect choice for a high-traffic area like the kitchen. The classic marble finish brings a sophisticated touch, making the kitchen a stylish yet practical space for daily use.

Main Entrance Hall – Articulated Elegance

The main entrance hall is a true centrepiece of this project. We installed rectified edge porcelain tiles with a hand-cut black inner border, including a bespoke curved border that wraps around the stunning oak staircase. This intricate design adds a “wow” factor the moment you step into the property. To complete the area, we added sleek, low-profile entrance matting, which is both hard-wearing and stylish.

Games Room, Gym, and Bar – Versatile Amtico Click Smart

In the games room, gym, and bar area, we laid Amtico ClickSmart LVT flooring in Linden Oak. This product provides a sleek and contemporary look, and its click-installation mechanism ensures that it can withstand heavy use while maintaining its modern aesthetic. It’s also easy to maintain, making it an excellent choice for active spaces.

Lounge, Dining, and First-Floor Lounge – Herringbone for a Luxurious Finish

For the lounge, dining area, and first-floor lounge, we installed Herringbone Wood flooring. The rich textures and patterns of herringbone flooring add a sense of luxury and warmth to the space, making it a highlight of this project. We also provided intricate border work with tongues, enhancing the herringbone design’s elegance and giving the rooms a refined finish.

Boot Room, Cupboard, and Utility – Durable and Stylish Grigio Classic Marble

These areas required a flooring option that was both durable and easy to clean.  Amtico Grigio Classic Marble was selected for its robust performance and stylish appearance. This flooring is well-suited for spaces that experience heavy foot traffic and require regular cleaning.

Additional Touches – Luxury Thresholds and Carpets

To complete the flooring installation, we supplied and installed luxury thresholds at all doorways, ensuring a seamless transition between different flooring types.  The project also included the installation of new Cormar carpet providing a comfortable and plush feel underfoot in areas where a softer flooring solution was desired.

Subfloor and Wall Preparation – Achieving a Seamless Transition

Proper subfloor preparation is crucial to the longevity of any flooring installation. In this project, we took meticulous care to match the heights of the subfloors with the varying thicknesses of the different floor coverings, such as LVT and ceramics. This approach ensured a smooth, level finish throughout the property. Additionally, it was essential to create a seamless transition from the interior to the exterior, especially through the large bifold doors. This attention to detail guarantees a cohesive and fluid connection between spaces, both indoors and out.

Tiling for a Complete Finish

Beyond flooring, we also carried out tiling works in various areas, including bathrooms and ensuites. Our skilled team installed skirting tiles, feature borders, and bullnose tiling, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the interior spaces. The articulated edge porcelain tiles in the hallway, paired with the hand-cut inner border, elevate the property’s elegance, providing an inviting entrance.
