The Process

Transformations like this don’t happen overnight — they require careful planning, preparation, and execution. Here’s how we brought their vision to life:

1. Uplift and Disposal

We began by removing the existing red carpet, underlay, grippers, and door bars throughout the lounge and hallway. Every trace of the old flooring was taken up and responsibly disposed of.

2. Subfloor Preparation

Subfloor prep is crucial for a long-lasting finish. In this case, we:

• Installed flooring-grade 5.5mm ply to create a smooth, even surface.

• Carried out levelling work where necessary to ensure stability.

• Carefully sealed and primed the surface before any fitting began.

3. The Installation

With the base prepared, we installed the Invictus LVT using high-performance adhesive. Laid in a traditional herringbone pattern, the natural oak tones immediately brought warmth, character, and sophistication to the home.

We also fitted new door thresholds to ensure a seamless transition between rooms, maintaining the overall quality and aesthetic.

The transformation speaks for itself. The area is now a bright, airy, and elegant space with a premium finish. The Highland Oak herringbone not only enhances the natural light but adds texture and depth to the rooms.
